Inclusivity in cities (During COVID)

Inclusivity in cities (During COVID)

This comic is part of a series developed with NIUA, India under their BASIIC programme, as one of several communication products focused on the importance of making cities more inclusive. Set during the COVID-19 pandemic, the comic highlights how global emergency situations expose the gaps in our urban infrastructure, especially for vulnerable groups who depend on constant care, accessible public systems, and inclusive environments.

Through visual storytelling, the comic reflects on how many people became even more vulnerable during the pandemic because cities often lack the basic inclusive infrastructure needed to support everyone in times of crisis.

These comics were later used in many of their internal webinars as well as on ground events along with other communication materials.
