Travel Workshops
Rajasthan Water Stories is a travel workshop series where architecture students from Ayojan School of Architecture, Jaipur and BVCOA, Navi Mumbai document the relationship between water, architecture, culture, and everyday life in Rajasthan’s cities. Conducted across Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jaisalmer, across three years, the workshops explored traditional water systems, local histories, public spaces, and climate knowledge through field visits, mapping, conversations, films, and comics.
This collaborative initiative has been developed by Dr. Ritu Deshmukh, architect and researcher at BVCOA College, Navi Mumbai, in partnership with Alliance Française de Jaipur, The Leewardists, D’Un Autre Œil, Aayojan School of Architecture, ENSA Toulouse, and the Jaipur Virasat Foundation. Other collaborators for Jaisalmer included the Rockwoods School, Ker Ker Field, The Rajkumari Rani Ratnavati School. Space for comics studio - Workspace Design Studio
