Urbanity of Occupations, Kolkata

This graphic novel was developed over seven days as part of the Indo-French Workshop on Chitpur Road. Students from ENSAPLV Paris, BVCOA Navi Mumbai, Anant COA, and CAT Trivandrum came together to study, document, and visually narrate the occupations of Chitpur Road.

The book is a collection of stories about the people, trades, and occupations that once connected closely with the river, the architecture, and the everyday life of the area. Through comics and visual storytelling, it captures the layered histories of Chitpur Road and the communities that shaped its identity.
