In collaboration with Dr. Suresh Munuswamy, this project asked a simple question: what does a healthy village look like?

Moving beyond the idea of health as only healthcare, the project explored the larger systems that shape everyday wellbeing, including water, sanitation, mobility, public spaces, food, energy, and the built environment. The outcome was an isometric illustration of a healthy village, designed as a tool to understand these interconnected systems, identify gaps, and support better decision-making.

This illustrated report documents the research, process, and design thinking behind imagining a healthy village model. It also demonstrates how illustration can help sectors such as healthcare, planning, and public policy understand built environments more meaningfully and design healthier places.
