Build-a-Story - Public Installation

Build-a-Story - Public Installation

Exhibition and Public Art

In collaboration with our friends at BBLOX Design, Bengaluru, we designed an interactive installation for Makkala Hubba, a children’s sub-festival of the city-wide BLR Hubba curated by Ar. Bhawna Jaimini, supported by Bachpan Manao.

The installation was imagined as a modular folly that worked both as a mural about cities and as a participatory workshop space for children. Using cardboard cubes as their canvas, young participants created drawings, comics, and ideas around greener, walkable, and more inclusive cities.

The cubes rotated every day, turning the structure into an ever-changing mural shaped by the children’s imagination.

Designed with young participants in mind, the project translated the language of urban design into a child-friendly format, allowing children to express powerful ideas about the future of cities through art, play, and storytelling.

The installation was attended by over 1000+ visitors over 10 days!

The project was featured in Scale Mag, NDTV, Luru Magazine
